We offer 6 varieties of local natural honey.
Wildflower – A rich, dark floral honey. Usually darker in color, with a stronger, bolder flavor.
Blueberry Blossom – Usually amber in color with a full, well-rounded flavor and a hint of fruitiness. Many people believe that this type is honey which Blueberry flavor is added. This is not true. It is the result of bees gathering nectar from the Blueberry bush.
Knotweed – Its flavor is unusually mild and dark with no discernible aftertaste. This dark, strongly flavored honey is harvested locally.
Basswood – A light, fragrant, pleasantly sweet with a barely perceptible bitter aftertaste. Its flavor is rich and includes balsamic, menthol and minty, hay or light woody notes.
Late Fall Wildflower – A rich, dark floral honey from Fall flowers. The honey is usually darker in color, with a stronger, bolder flavor.
Red Clover – Is light colored tending toward light amber. Its aroma is delicate, sweet and flowery with hints of freshly cut grass or hay. Its taste is clean, mild and very sweet that lingers in the mouth.
